So Help Me God

October 5, 2018 - Prayer, Reflections
So Help Me God

Dear Heavenly Father
Who is equally my mother
I pray some day I may have my own
Place I can call home

I know these difficulties are my stepping stones
But I am afraid I will fall and break my bones
Please do not let me unhinge my screws
Instead keep me intact and offer me clues
I am slowly breaking down
But I pray you may not let me drown
Don’t let me fall apart
Stitch the wounds that rip me apart
Then, I will stand tall
I will give it my all
And I will have my own
So help me God
