March 22, 2018 - Heart matters, In Love

After they got back home,
They couldn’t stop it,
It was too deep to ignore,
It was too sweet to resist,
They reminded each other,
How lovely their encounter was,
They texted-
Of their sweet old moments,
They teased-
How they’ve changed in tandem,
They laughed-
Though distantly with addiction,
They knew-
How irreplaceable they’re to each other,
And when sleep swept him over,
She was left on the screen,
Rereading their conversations,
Smiling at how new it felt,
To peruse through,
Their future’s promises.
